You haters are right, it is not going to happen. In fact, I am having to squeeze the last 2.5 months of 2012 in to this very post. Thanks to surgery & getting an iPhone, I am sadly picture poor. Which is on the mental list of things to improve in the next 365 days.

Here is Lilli on the very day she turned one. Yellow cake w/buttercream frosting turns out to be something she can & will eat large quantities of :) My mother made her her own little cake (so cute!!) & she, to our concern, easily put away HALF of it.

Halloween.
My first year to put effort in to their costumes. But to be fair, my effort was mostly mental, my mom's, a touch more physical!! She sewed Lilli's entire costume! Sewing something other than curtains is also on that mental list for 2013.

My sweet cousin sent some Texas fancy for our holiday outings!!! So thoughtful & generous & wonderful-- especially this year as I was recovering from surgery & unable to drive!
The Christmas present award goes to my parents, who got Emmett this barn to play with. My mom quilted the farm, & there has not been an hour of the day since that it hasn't been played with. I love it! (forgive the lack of focus!)

Our sweet Ashie & Emma came to stay for a few days-- to help out & cheer us in those post-op days :) It was GREAT. Always a joy to be with a sister-friend & Emmett & Lilli loved having a fun playmate!! We loved every minute of it-- COME BACK!!!! Move in with us!!!

& lastly, the gift Dave & I gave each other. A real, functioning sink. Did we almost pull an all-nighter to get it in? YES. Were we without water thanks to some faulty valve work (see the soaked bottom of the cabinet for proof) left for us from the builders? YES. But it is working now-- I'll have to take an after pic.
